Microsft says you shouldn't use a surge protector on the Xbox One S or Xbox One X

Looking at the Xbox Support Twitter account, it shows plenty of people having issues with the Xbox One X. The console may not turn on if you don’t plug it directly into an outlet. This is in fact due to the console having its own built-in surge protector. Most feel this is something Microsoft should have let consumers know ahead of time since we all know no one reads the instruction manuals for console setups.
